After Danny Boyle left citing "creative differences", the EON has confirmed the first American director to helm a James Bond movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cary Fukunaga's name has been under the radar the whole time while the search for Boyle's replacement was going on.
Fukunaga was almost the director for last year's IT, and I loved what he brought to the first season of "True Detective". However, I personally do not believe this installment will be Craig's best seeing as how he has been out of it the last two movies. But all the best to Fukunaga.
