Deadline has confirmed Mckenna Grace as the first to be cast in the upcoming sequel to Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation.
Grace will play daughter of the Warrens, Judy, whom we saw was the target of the possessed doll Annabelle.
Gary Dauberman, who wrote most of the spin-off movies from The Conjuring franchise, will be making his directorial debut.
I am no fan of his writing. Most of his work have been bad; apart from Annabelle: Creation which had a bit of a spark. I wouldn't jump too quickly on him having written It as well because there are two other writers in that project; and we have yet to see It: Chapter Two.
