From that first frame and the first dialogue, the Adam McKay stamp takes over. The beat, the pacing, the cut of this trailer; it's all very McKay-ish. And it looks fantastic.
Collaborating once again with Bale and Carell, add in the always brilliant Adams and last year's Academy Award winner Rockwell; this I can't wait to see.
Bale looks unrecognisable, and that's not just the prosthetic. His mannerisms have changed again, and will probably be nominated for an Oscar, along with at least one more from this cast. (Probably not Carell as he's got two other movies that the Academy can consider, though this movie does give him an edge in the Supporting category.)
