Not the confidence-boosting that we needed for the studio but also not totally unexpected coming from said studio. The sequel is now delayed from 1 November 2019 to 5 June 2020.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio wants the sequel to come out in the same week as the first movie. That's the official word we are getting right now.
