RIP William Goldman

(Source - http://hollywoodreporter.com)

William Goldman has passed away in his Manhattan home at the age of 87 due to ailing health issues, as reported by Deadline.

The legendary screenwriter is best known for his two Oscar-winning screenplays, Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and All The President's Men.

Other notable works include The Princess Bride which was based on his own novel, Misery, Chaplin and The Stepford Wives. He was also a script doctor, often times not taking credits for rewrites, such as on A Few Good Men and Indecent Proposal.

Here's a strange coincidence. I just watched The Princess Bride for the first time last night  I've been wanting to for the longest time and yesterday I did.
