[Editorial] Lewis Tan Should Play Snake Eyes In Spin-Off

Just last Monday, SlashFilm has confirmed that Ray Park will not be coming back to play Snake Eyes in the spin-off G.I. Joe movie.
Producer Lorenzo DiBonaventura has also confirmed that the movie will be an origin story for Snake Eyes, and will require someone younger as the character will not start off with donning his armour.
Now I'm not one to blog about my choices for casting a character, but I feel like this could be perfect. Lewis Tan as Snake Eyes.
And I'll be the first to admit it, I don't know everything about the character Snake Eyes. He was my favourite from the 80's cartoon series "G.I. Joe", and I've read a few comics here and there; but I don't remember too much detail about his origin.
Also, I don't know much about the actor Lewis Tan (nor if he's a fan of the property). First time I saw him was in Deadpool 2 playing Shatterstar. But he's currently on Netflix's "Wu Assassins" and he was also on season 3 of "Into The Badlands". Both of which are heavy in action and fight scenes.
But if you have never seen Tan's work, may I direct you to his Instagram account (@lewistanofficial) where you will find some of his action sequences he posted up; and they look incredible as they are. You will also learn that he is amazing with a sword and can do some acrobatic moves as well.
Not to mention, his physique, his height, and his acting chops; all lend perfectly to playing Snake Eyes.
This could be another case of marrying the character Spider-Man with the actor Tom Holland, whose acrobatic skills also lends heavily into creating the movement of the MCU's Spider-Man.
Now I'm hoping to see @bosslogic from Instagram fame to create some images of Tan as Snake Eyes. And I hope Hasbro won't discount Tan just because he isn't a household name, yet.
