I want to say this trailer seems like it's trying too hard, but then again, I don't think that's the case because why would it need to?
This looks really cheesy and over-the-top, and it's what the franchise promises since the last few installments. So the best way to market this new spin-off is to live up to what it's good at. And Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham look like they are having lots of fun doing it.
Idris Elba reminds me of his villainous role in Star Trek Beyond, playing some kind of a superhuman role.
