According to Entertainment Weekly, a Tomb Raider sequels is currently in the works at MGM and WB; and it is confirmed that Alicia Vikander will reprise her role.
I am a little bit surprised because, while I thought it was good enough to warrant a sequel, the movie itself did not receive a lot of love both from critics and fans. So for the studios to go ahead with this sequel is risky and ballsy. But I am looking forward to it.
