I have no way of fairly rating this movie. Every critical thought about it comes from a fanboy perspective because what the Russo Brothers did with this was purely for the fanboys in all of us. If you are a true fan of the movie, you will get everything that is presented in front of you. And there is no way not to be completely satisfied.

Without going into specifics or spoiler territories, there is a reason why I used the poster above. And yes, while it would already have been abundantly clear that this movie will focus on the trio's character arcs, let's not forget the rest of the original Avengers too who would be playing very important roles and closing off their individual arcs.

Yes, Endgame is about just that. The closing of the first 11 years of the MCU, but a closing that will leave you feeling so complete and in this warm tranquility - just like Thanos at the end of Infinity War. As if there is nothing left to pursue after this because nothing else matters. (Whether in a good way or not, that would entirely be up to your own feelings.)

The fan service / love letter to the past decade was also some of the highlights that is strewn together in the second hour of the movie. But as usual, the characters themselves took centre stage. In Marvel Studios, it has always been about character development. Not the CGI, not the action sequences, not even major plot points. It has always been about being faithful to the development of these larger-than-life characters, and let everything else fall into place as they will, and have.

And in the end, there are no words for this movie other than "thank you". Thank you to the producers, writers, everyone who worked on the Infinity Saga, especially in the Avengers quadrilogy, more specifically in the last two films. Thank you for taking such care and attention-to-detail while creating every scene that we see onscreen. Thank you for bringing comic books to life.

Thank you to this amazing cast for portraying these characters that we love so much and portraying them to the best of their abilities, taking each role so seriously and professionally, and honoring their names and legacy.

And finally, thank you just for making me feel, cry, laugh, gasp, rejoice, cheer, and stirring up every other emotion - because they are what makes me a human being. Thank you for the love.
