[Review] Cold Pursuit (6.5/10)

Title - Cold Pursuit
Studio - Studio Canal
Starring - Liam Neeson, Laura Dern, Emmy Rossum, William Forsythe, Tom Bateman
Writer - Frank Baldwin
Director - Hans Petter Moland
Release - 3 February 2019

This movie started slow, but half way through it kind of picked up, with the action and with the humour.

To be fair, the beginning saw the death of Liam Neeson and Laura Dern's son. But once Neeson started to investigate and hunt, it got more interesting.

Especially when we got to know Tom Bateman's villainous "Viking"; the style of his character, although played out many times before, still added a bit of entertainment to the whole project.

The humour in the second half also made things more engaging. A few of the lines really made me laugh, as I remember vividly the one about the Indian, delivered by a native American.

Also, something about homicide cases in the snowy parts of America that always interests me. So while this movie was nothing great or memorable, I still had a good time with it.
