Having watched the first two installments for the first time, I can now conclude that this is one of the very rare franchise that keeps on improving as it adds on more.

It really wasn't easy to beat the first one because I have no idea how a sequel would be made from...that. It was boring, lazy writing, all the extras were useless, and that stage performance at the end left me wondering if the whole school was filled with brain dead people.

The second one obviously had an improved budget, where the side characters had more to do and added to the overall plot. There was also that very memorable showdown with Death that made it all worthwhile, though those puppets really challenged the watchability whenever scenes were focused on them.

And now, this third one had the biggest budget with modern CGI technology that made it really enjoyable to watch. The side characters had even more to do, and it was great to see some of the cast back.

Still, this was a Bill & Ted movie, and there was not much sense in their time travelling logic to begin with so one cannot expect too much from there.

I only wished Death had more scenes because he was the best part from the previous movie. Also this time the air guitar moves seemed to have been toned down a lot, which was really part of the charm in the first two.
