Finn Cole is a fine actor. We kind of knew that from the later seasons of Peaky Blinders, but to see how different he played this character, again showed his range. But he also held his own against Margot Robbie.

This was a very different role for Robbie to play, and it was probably what drew her to the role as well. Not that it was emotionally challenging for her, but it was just a role that usually doesn't come her way - also because it wasn't a big role, which was again rare. Granted, this project was also before Once Upon A Time In Hollywood or Bombshell.

Cole was the main character, so he had the responsibility to carry the movie. Travis Fimmel also was a good choice here and showed also his acting skill outside of the series "Vikings". Even young Darby Camp was impressive, once again a young character that was wiser beyond her years - those are always fun to watch as she schooled her elder brother.

In the end, it was also the story that was captivating, with good direction from Miles Joris-Peyrafitte. By the end of the story, there was enough to move the emotions of the audience.

There was also this old fashioned way of storytelling by Joris-Peyrafitte that harkened back to stories like Bonnie And Clyde and E.T.
