Get ready to be charmed by the sweetest innocence. This is yours and mine and everyone's pre-university story, it's so easily relatable.
Here's a competent cast to bring out that charm too, led by Song Wei Long, who came with the right amount of charisma and innocence and stupidity. Opposite him, Liu Hao Cun, also looked great in her part. I only wished she came with more facial expressions than just cycling between a cute smile and a sad face.
Playing the teacher role was Zhang Lei who stole every one of his scenes.
And the best thing about this story was it stayed in that pocket of those few years, rather than time-jumped to adulthood. I was afraid we would go into their early career or even further. But luckily it didn't. It stuck to that pre-adulthood innocence that we all once had, and it was a nice throwback to my own memory and experience.
