This was a little more fun than the first one, which I'm not that big of a fan. I guess I'm just not a fan of Beetlejuice, what can I say. But as an entertainment piece, this was alright; though quite bloated.
Monica Bellucci was totally underused. Why was she even in this one, or were there more scenes of her on the edit room floor? We should have focused more on Justin Theroux's character, because the actor can do no wrong in anything. He can play anything.
Also, a bit of spoiler here, I thought Catherine O'Hara's character's demise was very underwhelming, and they should have just kept her alive for the next one - if there's one.
Unless they plan on waiting a few more decades.
