I don't know why critics are hating on this movie, I thought it was a lot of fun.

Especially if you grew up with the 80's and 90's, it's so easy to see what the Russo Brothers were going for. Every frame had that feel, like the characters were stuck in time. And back then, as a kid, I dreamt about a world of robots; and it looked like this movie.

And all this while I was waiting for the movie to fail; but as it progressed, it just maintained a nice pace throughout. It slowed down just a little just before the third act, and there were some expositions from Stanley Tucci that I didn't care that much. But all the actors performed really well. Plus, all the green screen work wasn't jarring at all. In fact, this world building looked really good, and you could see the Russos' stamp on that.

The humour, though, was a little generic. A lot of old school style of humour that some worked and some fell a bit flat.

Captain America: Winter Soldier this was not. But the quartet of longtime filmmakers delivered another piece of solid entertainment that carried with it a message at the end.
