This was the best Predator movie since the first one. Not only was the animation stunning and beautiful, but the movie never shied away from blood and gore; which was that original tone from the first movie.
Plus, this movie added so much more into the lore and universe of this world that it was just fun to watch.
The first two timelines were great. The third was a bit boring and almost unrealistic that the human side would come out the victor. But more so in the final story, where the alien technology was just overwhelmingly superior; and yet humans always find a way in these stories. So that was fine.
Where would a sequel go, though, to keep this interesting? Back to live-action and suffer in mediocrity? We'll see soon enough.
