Surrogates
The premise to the story is very difficult to relate to begin with, and yet the storytelling has made it even worse. I suppose as a movie, it's difficult to care for a character if the character is not even real. The real Bruce Willis (and this is not a spoiler) only enters at mid-point and by then it's already too late to care.Even during the action bits, there isn't anything concrete to grab on to or care for. I was just sitting through the motions and fighting away sleep. The visuals, if I really want to point out something positive, are the only thing redeeming about the movie. The make-up or CGI has made the actors look 20 years younger flawlessly.Oh, and the ending ended satisfactorily, surprisingly. As a story, it did sum up pretty nicely even though it wasn't much.Rating: 4 / 10
