Pandorum (6/10)

This is for my own records and reference more than anything else as I just realised I've never entered this, not here or Silverscreen. This was another one of those science fiction horror. The story wasn't original as it was more like another Event Horizon. (Is Event Horizon the first of its kind? Why am I referring and comparing everything else to it?) Also, it had a lot of the elements from Aliens. But this was done very well. The creatures, the suspense, the horror, it worked very well for the movie because I remember I came out very satisfied. The creatures also looked scary and real enough to send chills.Ben Foster's role suited him very well as he looked the part already. Dennis Quaid had another ho-hum role but I think he is getting very comfortable in roles that doesn't require him to move too much.I didn't like some of the progression, some scenes didn't quite make sense. Many times Ben Foster's character should have been caught up by the aliens but he seemed to outrun them, so that didn't work for me. There were other little issues but I'm just fussy like that.
