Alice In Wonderland (9/10)

Like I said earlier, I was going to catch this again in 2D and I'm glad I did. Watching it a second time was an even better experience. And not just because it was 2D.Mia Wasikowska was better the second time round as well. I noticed this time what made her so great was that her subtle magnetism slowly sneaks up on you that you don't even realise you got drawn to her.And I noticed more of the wonderful performances of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter because the first time I watched the movie, their names didn't pop into my head every time I saw them onscreen. Meaning they really did a great job becoming their characters. Now, I watched this at the Mall Cineplex in the biggest cinema, Cinema 1. Comparing the quality of the picture, the 3D I've experienced in Cineleisure in Singapore was much, much better. The screen was brighter and the colours were more vibrant. I don't know whether this was because it was a 3D screen, or Brunei's cinemas aren't on par with Singapore's, or because the cinema was too big and I was sitting at a wrong angle? I really doubt it's the latter.
