[/caption]It was quite complicated and difficult to grasp throughout the first half. But I thought director Tony Gilroy did brilliant in keeping the audience guessing and in suspense in a movie that's about silly spy work in inconsequential product industry but lucrative nonetheless. And this was only Gilroy's second directorial feature. The opening montage with Tom Wilkinson and Paul Giamatti was too funny for words. The writing was also excellent and it was all Gilroy in that department too. He made it really amusing to look into the psyche of two spies learning to trust each other but failing at it. Gilroy is definitely one to watch out for.Needless to say the cast was excellent and the acting was great. So even if it was complicating at first but the screen presence of Julia Roberts and Clive Owen was easy to watch.
