Frozen (7/10)
[caption id="attachment_1914" align="alignleft" width="214" caption="(imdb.com)"][/caption]I loved how the first sequence started, about how the guys didn't want to pay for the lift up the slope and wanted to use sex appeal instead to get by. I thought this was what represented indie storytelling and it was done well. This was a great movie that really pierced the psyche of the viewers. I found myself kept asking the question in my head, what would I have done in those times of desperation.I thought the three leads also portrayed their roles very well and could bring the audience into their world. Most of the gory scenes I enjoyed. They weren't done out of being gimmicky so it was quite tasteful. All except how the girl had her naked hand on the cold metal throughout the night. That was quite unbelievable even in that circumstance. It got a little slow in the middle and I wished there were more things going on. But on the other hand, it really felt real without being overly exaggerated with events and twists. So overall, very enjoyable and thrilling.
