All the situations created were illogical and unrealistic. And so, it was too hard for me to follow without questioning everything, even though this movie was meant to be enjoyed with your brain shut off. But I couldn't take it.
Hill and Brand had chemistry, but that's about it as far as acting went. Elisabeth Moss, on the other hand, looked really awkward with Hill; zero chemistry ensued. Sean Combs was barely effective and very forgettable in this role. Worse was his pronunciations sometimes were slurred like into a string and difficult to make out.
But this movie was sort of meant to showcase Brand and his talent. Sure, he stood out. But other than that, it wasn't very interesting for me as I didn't even laugh-out-loud once.
The only bright spot in this movie was when T.J. Miller appeared for a short sequence. I have to say, he actually looked good when he's in a suit.
