Trespass (6/10)

Nicolas Cage as a family man, living in a mansion, comes in a three-piece suit and complete with glasses. Almost unheard of.
But he is a great actor and he was convincing. And Nicole Kidman still looked fantastic even now with a bit of enhancement. I did wonder though, why Kidman chose something that's not as challenging as what she usually is up for. But still, she brought more than enough acting for her character.
The rest of the cast including Liana Liberato and Cam Gigandet added sufficient acting to complement the two leads.
It was a very solid story all the way through, filled with enough little twists to give bursts of energy to the movie. However, right to the last part, something stupid happened. Not enough to throw the movie off the tracks but enough to generate a few laughter because of how silly it looked at that point in time.
Still, the movie wrapped up properly and I was quite satisfied with the whole thing.
