This Means War (6/10)

To be honest, the trailer was really bad. The movie actually fared better. But with a lineup that included Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, it should have been better.

Everything was nice and fine from the beginning. The plot was interesting, humorous and somewhat romantic to a certain extent. It all went downhill when Pine and Hardy's characters started using their resources and skill to do reconaissance on Witherspoon's character. 

Everything felt and looked really dumb after that. Saved partially only by the action in the end. But the fight choreography was not impressive at all. But the writing took a bad turn and never really got it back. I was even rooting for the other guy, and when he lost, I thought the story sucked even more. 

And the way they created that happy ending in the end for everyone was just predictable and rubbish.

The only bright light was perhaps Chelsea Handler with some funny one-liners.
