The Three Stooges (5/10)

This one was a bit tricky. The Three Stooges were big way back when, but to update it in this century and to give it a modern feel, that's the tricky bit.

The characters themselves were too out of place, the slapsticks were too old to incorporate in this modern world, and that 60's sound effects took a while to get used to.

But three cheers to the the three main leads who were almost unrecognisable. I saw Will Sasso first, and then a long while to place Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos was just impossible to figure out. These three really brought out the characters of Larry, Curly and Moe.

The story was predictable, of course, but that's not what anyone would go in to this movie for. The eye-pokes and face-slaps got old really quick but some of the gags were very funny. But the best thing I could say about this movie was that the characters had charm and they charmed their way through.

And Jane Lynch was funny because she was acting a character that was super nice, not what we usually see of her.
