Django Unchained (9/10)

I cannot recall another Quentin Tarantino movie that I have enjoyed as much as I enjoyed this.
Credits of course went to Tarantino, but also to the whole cast that he picked. This was the best Jamie Foxx movie ever. This was also Chrstoph Waltz's best performance ever, his thanks definitely went to Tarantino as well who gave him two Best Supporting award two years in a row. He was almost the lead character in this movie.

And, this was probably Samuel L. Jackson's best performance in a long time. His banters with Leonardo DiCaprio was just beautiful and hilarious to watch.

And then there was DiCaprio, whose every nuances were pronounced very, very loudly. And then there was that scene where everyone in the audience knew he cut his hand by accident because it was just SO REAL. The blood starting dripping from his very red hand and yet he never broke character. Kudos to Kerry Washington as well who never broke character and played along.

Every scene in this movie was perfect. Even when Tarantino put himself in the movie, indulgent as it was, still it was perfect the way he ended things.

The only criticism I have was L. Jackson's character that went quite out of character in the library when discussing with DiCaprio's character. He seemed too much like a different person, a more intelligent and intellectual person. Whether it was intended or not, I thought that wasn't a good turn of event, or character in this sense.

But here's a movie that I would watch again.
