Amour (7/10)

Definitely worthy Oscar contenders for the two leads, Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva. It's one of the very rare foreign films I have ever caught and it was worth a watch, though I doubt I'll ever re-watch it again.

By the end of the film you would really feel for the characters because the story progression was excellent and even in those quiet moments there were some meaning to every frame as we the audience try to understand what was going on through the actors' minds.

There were also many reflections of what old age would be like and why the characters felt the way they did. Pretty insightful with many awareness.
