It showed what the future could be when robots are advanced enough to serve as helpers or maids. Certainly both an interesting and a scary thought that robots will be taking over a lot of our daily routines very soon.
But even when the co-star was a box-shaped robot, it was Frank Langella's performance that really won me over. I'm surprised there wasn't much mention of this movie anywhere. Other great supporting turns came from Susan Sarandon who provided a small twist and also James Marsden. Liv Tyler however I wasn't too fond of seeing here.
