Colourful, yes. A solid story, sure. But somehow the delivery wasn't quite up to par. I thought most of the middle was really slow and I had trouble keeping my attention on what's going on.
Even the introduction wasn't all that interesting to me. Only Nicolas Cage's voice acting caught my attention. Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds didn't leave too much of an impression on me.
The moral of the story was pounded to death by Cage's character. That also contributed to some of the boredom I felt. Only towards the end did things picked up but only slightly.
