Hummingbird (6/10)

Jason Statham back to his roots, leading a movie at what he does best. With Steven Knight writing and directing, this was done quite well for a small-ish budget film.

I liked the character development of Statham's character as the audience got to see the psychological aspect. But it was far from perfect a development. Sometimes the simplicity of it all becomes too implausible for the reality. But Statham carried the whole thing well.

There were parts where it went too slowly, and even for a running time that wasn't long, it felt longer and that's never a good thing.

But this kind of a moody setting really suits Statham well.
