In the first half hour, as the story progressed and as I got to know Paul Walker's character, gradually I was just rooting for him to fail. With each dumb and stupid decision he made, there was no way to like his character and there was no way to enjoy the movie after that.
And being so early into the movie, all was already lost. The movie never picked up the pace, but just slowly spiraled even further down to an abyss that I didn't think it could climb out of.
And I was right to think that, because it really didn't. There was a faint spark of life right at the end, but with the hole that it has dug for itself, it didn't help much.
