I've only seen Alfred Hitchcock on television a couple of times when he did his monologue, and immediately I was reminded of that when Anthony Hopkins came on. And in my untrained eyes, Hopkins has done a commendable job portraying Hitchcock.
Not only him, Helen Mirren's performance I thought, even though I have never knew this person, was simply breathtaking. Her each expression clearly expressed her feelings. I really enjoyed her in this.
Scarlett Johansson and Danny Huston were also great additions to the cast with wonderful performances.
But the best part was to see how Hitchcock made Psycho and the drama that led up to the creation of the iconic movie. This was a great watch.
