R.I.P.D. (5/10)

The trailer already felt too much like M.I.B. Even the name is in acronym. The only difference was that the heroes were dead and the bad guys were monsters instead of aliens. Scratch that, Will Smith also had to disappear to take up the job with the M.I.B. so he's more dead than alive too.

And M.I.B. had a cooler name.

Being another "buddy-cop" movie, there's nothing we couldn't expect to see. The old grumpy veteran, the young partner trying to win his affections / approvals, and in the end they became real partners.

Nothing more to add other than that the performances by Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds had their good moments and some comedic timings were excellent by Reynolds.
