I still can't believe how much marketing was spent on this crap. I was tricked into believing that this could be good but I had that small voice at the back of my head saying there was something off about it.
Sure enough, when I saw how the mouths of the dinosaurs didn't move at all with the talking and dialogue, I knew it wouldn't be good.
And about the dialogue, it was horrendous. The dinosaurs were talking as if they were people as they even referred themselves as "people". It took me out of that imaginary world so hard and so often that I just couldn't enjoy the movie.
I even tried to sleep. I wasn't fighting to stay awake. I was really trying to fall asleep. If I wasn't watching alone, I would have walked out half way through.
This was made from a documentary point of view and I felt I didn't get my money's worth. If I had watched this as a television programme instead, then I would be a bit more forgiving. But as a movie experience, horrible.
Even though the visuals were beautiful, the cons outweighed the pros so much here.
And what's Karl Urban even doing here? They must have paid him good money to coax him for those 3 lousy scenes.
