Adventureland (7/10)

Before Twilight ruined Kristen Stewart (for me at least) she was actually pretty good. As for Jesse Eisenberg, he doesn't seem too versatile as of now so I am not sure how he will be pulling off Lex Luthor.

As for Adventureland, it's probably Greg Mottola most memorable work since he wrote and directed it.And it's a good followup to the very good Superbad.

I thought the characters were as if they were written just for Stewart and Eisenberg because they were perfect for the roles. I liked how Ryan Reynolds chose to accept his role in this movie even though it's quite a small role but a significant one. And he had that onscreen wattage that helped his character.

But another two were equally brilliant in their roles. Kristen Wiig was a bit less showy but that's because of how she was written in. Bill Hader, however, sporting a ridiculous looking mustache, stole scenes every time.

Though the best part of the movie was the story, though it still wasn't as satisfying in the end as I would have hoped. It sort of plateaud from the middle and didn't reach a high towards the end.

Still, a good coming of age movie nonetheless.
