This Godzilla movie poster has been hanging on one of the walls in The Mall Cineplex for a while now but each time I pass it, I have to walk slower and take another glance. And the more I see it, the more I like it.
I like how one image can show a lot of things. When a picture speaks a thousand words, that's when it's a successful movie poster.
In this one we don't even see Godzilla, but just the back of its neck (I'm guessing). And then we see all these men-on-a-mission-of-no-return sky diving down in a desperate attempt to stop its rampage on their city. And what are those smoke coming out of their ankles?
And overlooking in the background, under a dark gloomy sky, is a city in chaos and destruction; making this scene feel all the more dire.
This one poster has made me more interested and excited for the movie.
