My favourite song from any Spider-Man soundtrack is Gifts And Curses from Yellowcard. The lyrics suited the movie so well back then, and not just the movie too but the whole Spider-Man mythology. Back then, I thought Yellowcard really understood Spider-Man.
My favourite line from the song was before the chorus, "This gift is my curse for now." That is totally inline with Uncle Ben's famous last words, "With great power comes great responsibility."
And the new The Amazing Spider-Man 2 promo with the words, "His greatest battle begins" only adds on to this theme in my head - not sure if anyone else out there feels the same way.
