Let's Be Cops Trailer Looks Promising?

Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans, Jr. have shared a lot of screen time on this season's comedy series, New Girl. So what this movie would have going for it is their chemistry and we can see quite a bit of that in the trailer. 

The premise of it looks funny enough. And that's the first half of the trailer. However, I'm just sceptical about how the movie will end and if it's going to be tacky and predictable because that's how it could go judging from one of the scenes from the second half of the trailer.

But the second half also boasts a few comedians like Rob Riggle and Keegan-Michael Key. And they probably will come in as cameos to add some comedic sparks. Those could be interesting, or could be tacky as well. 

Let's face it though, Johnson and Wayans still look like their TV characters. And the female lead here is Nina Dobrev from The Vampire Diaries series. So fans of theirs might enjoy this movie and support the actors. But this probably isn't going to be anybody's breakout role into full fledged movie stars.

Let's Be Cops will be released in August in the States.
