Prom (4/10)
Seems like Heath Ledger's overgrown body with the James Dean rebel image and a ridiculously deep voice has become a formula for highschool prom movies.
Prom even felt like it was a remake of 10 Things I Hate About You, minus the intelligence and wit and humour.
Aimee Teegarden did her best to carry the movie. Given what she had, I thought she did quite a decent job. Thomas McDonnel - taking over Ledger's role, hasn't mastered the acting chops just yet. The rest of the cast, some better actors and some not, was just weak as well.
The story, too, was equally weak; following a strict formula for teenage romance movies. So I'm totally the wrong target audience.
