Zack Snyder has released the first image of the new Batman from the Man Of Steel sequel, also known as Batman Vs. Superman for now. And oh my does it look great.
First, the Batmobile. We also saw the other image released a day before this one, which was a shot of the Batmobile from behind. That one actually made the vehicle looked small. But from the above image, it looked big enough, and definitely tough enough.
The new Batsuit looks equally tough. The Bat sign in front looks subtle but definitely suits the look. The new cowl looks really cool too. And as for Ben Affleck, of all the Batmans that came before, his version looks the biggest in terms of size. Obviously he has been training hard to sculpt this superhero body. So to all the Affleck haters, at least this may sway your mind a little.
As for the overall tone, I know this is just a still image, I'm liking it very much. Now if the whole movie was in black and white, I don't think I would complain. Not just yet.
