The Other Woman (3/10)
Started out as a 5, then dropped to 4 by the middle, and to my horror, finished with a 3. How did it get so bad? And this coming from the director who directed The Notebook. Comedy probably is not for Nick Cassavetes.
The first act was alright, I was enjoying it. Then if it had started to wind down to the final act, that would have been good. But I was wrong by about an hour. And that hour I could have done without.
Basically it started to go downhill when Kate Upton came into the picture. It wasn't completely her fault, but she didn't contribute anything and was painful to watch most of the time. She's not an actress.
Leslie Mann still hashing out the same personality and character that I couldn't be bothered with. Some people find her funny, but I don't. Cameron Diaz had a few sparkles here and there. She can be really funny in the physical comedy and she should go into that more.
Cut the movie by half, and it would have been better.
