Lionsgate has announced another live action movie to the popular 90's series, Power Rangers. Having achieved minimal profit on the first movie and failing miserably with the follow-up back in the mid 90's, Lionsgate must have something good up their sleeves if they are risking it all over again.
I have never really watched the series 2 decades ago, nor have I seen any of the movies, but if I had to choose between Power Rangers or Captain Planet, Power Rangers would interest me more, just slightly. I remembered they were less lame as a whole concept.
I won't be holding my breath anticipating for this movie. Then again, honestly, who would be? Kids these days don't know them. Those who know them way back when aren't strong followers, unlike He-Man and Transformers.
So, Lionsgate better have something really good.
