Beverly Hills Cop 4 For 2016
Beverly Hills Cop 4 is slated for March 2016 and Eddie Murphy will team up with director Brett Ratner for this sequel.
The last sequel, Beverly Hills Cop III, was released back in 1994; just about two decades from today. But nothing can compare to what the original one was when it was released in 1984 (three decades already!).
Brett Ratner is a hit or miss so the movie can easily go either way. And Eddie Murphy hasn't been a big hit for a long time now, so it's probably not a coincidence he's going back to a franchise and a character that has a following.
With the right kind of marketing, this sequel will definitely make some money. The question on a lot of movie experts' mind now is, whether or not this will be rated R like the original, where Murphy was raw and unbridled. If it's a PG-13, some old fans may lose interest.
