Releasing in the fall, Brad Pitt in another war movie. He really loves his war movies, it seems.
I love the tone of the trailer. I hope it translates to the movie. Judging from the storyline and the characters, I doubt it will be something new, but I bet it will be entertaining.
My only concern is that it's written by David Ayer, whom I'm not a big fan of after watching most of his movies. He's got a way of stortelling that just never got to me in a good way.
But I am looking forward to it. It has a fantastic cast of Brad Pitt who has been doing a lot of good movies of late, Logan Lerman who I really like and I believe he can carry a movie on his own, Shia LeBeouf who is a strong actor no matter what you think of him personally, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs who always give solid performances, and Michael Pena who we'll see next year in Ant-Man.
