Another thriller / horror movie trailer has just been released. And this one comes from horror director / writer / producer Eli Roth.
Roth brought us Hostel and Cabin Fever in the past, though I can't say I'm a fan of his work. He specialises in in-your-face gruesome scenes that could make your skin crawl, not in the Saw kind of way. Definitely not what I'm into.
But Roth hasn't written and directed anything for more than 5 years and I'm sure many of his fans are waiting to see what new gore he's bringing this time.
Watching this trailer, it reminded me of Hostel, where the premise (in this case, saving the rain forest) takes a backseat to what would befall the characters later on.
The tagline "No good deed goes unpunished", looks quite lame at the moment. Only the poster looks interesting. I don't think this is for me but could be for you.
