Jupiter Ascending Delayed Even When So Close To Launching

Jupiter Ascending, the Wachowski siblings first comeback to sci-fi after The Matrix, is being pushed back from the previously confirmed date that is next month (July) to 6 February 2015 - a whopping and alarming 7 whole months - with no official reasons given as of now.

To announce this so close to the release date could only mean one thing, the test screenings were unimpressive and the Wachowski want to do some adjustments to it, seeing as they are known for editing until the very last minute.

If they wanted to re-do some scenes or do some re-shoots, that would be good. One of the best things the creators for a movie can do is to be humble and look at how they can improve their movie further after taking in some notes from the audience.

This isn't something new in Hollywood. World War Z did it, so did Noah. And both probably came out better for it.

I of course am disappointed. I was really looking forward to this movie because it looked stunning and beautiful in the trailers, and I am really anticipating for some of that Matrix magic by the two siblings that really know their stuff.

With a budget of USD 150 million and supposed to be a summer blockbuster, now it's moved to a month where nothing good ever comes out (except for The Lego Movie). Guess we'll have to wait and see what's going on.
