Okay, it's official. I'm really excited this movie now after watching the second trailer that just came out yesterday. Whoever cut the trailer did a great job in making it action-filled.
I just hope those are not all the cool bits from the movie, because it is a long trailer and it did gave away a lot. I didn't have to see Splinter yet. I didn't have to see Shredder in all his bladed-armour glory yet. But they got me excited.
What I really liked in the direction was the approach of stealth that the Turtles were attempting, because that's how they were back in the 90's. So this had a bit of a nostalgic factor for me.
What I'm disappointed was that although the Turtles looked badass and darker, the tone didn't follow suit. I've said before I was hoping for the entire movie to be darker, not what the trailer has shown so far with a lot of humour and loud action sequences. I wanted more The Dark Knight and less Avengers, if you know what I mean.
Nevertheless, I can't wait.
