Iron Man 3's writer-director, Shane Black, has confirmed that he will be writing the screenplay and the direct a new sequel to one of the scariest creatures ever created for the silver screen, Predator.
And here's a little trivia. Black, in fact, had a role in the original Predator. So he's someone who understands the mythology and that world of the Predator. Plus he has come into his own as a writer, having penned so many great stuff in the past including all the Lethal Weapon franchise, his first directorial Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Last Action Hero, The Long Kiss Goodnight, and not forgetting Iron Man 3.
I didn't dislike the last Predator movie with Adrien Brody back in 2010. And I am interested in a new sequel, so it is time for one. And with Black attached, this should be interesting. He definitely has proven himself with a big budget action movie, Iron Man 3; whether or not you agree with The Mandarin sub-plot.
