Prometheus' Scribe To Rewrite Marvel's Doctor Strange

Prometheus, that horrible movie's biggest problem was the script. But no one knows exactly who was responsible for those bad parts.

Damon Lindelof's name was the most recognisable so he suffered much of that brunt. Prometheus really belonged to Ridley Scott and since he was the one who ordered for a rewrite, it could be his fault too. (Plus he's the director.)

However, in that writing team also consisted of John Spaihts, who was also responsible for another horrible screenplay belonging to The Darkest Hour. That also being his only other credit. And he's now attached to rework the screenplay for Doctor Strange which was drafted earlier by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer.

Judging by these two movies alone, both suffered heavily from their screenplay and both had Spaihts attached. So saying I'm a little worried is an understatement for such a risky Marvel project.

Again though, Marvel hasn't done anything wrong so far so I still have to give them the benefit of the doubt. Here's hoping Kevin Feige will monitor closely on the development of this script for Doctor Strange.
