I take back what I said. After watching this trailer, I realised that it has been long enough that this stylistic direction can be fresh again because we don't get to see this everyday.
I'm officially excited for Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. I thought the actors that really suited this style from this trailer were Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Powers Boothe. Both looked like they belonged to this style. Josh Brolin reminded me a little of Old Boy flying out the window. And Eva Green once again looked amazing and dangerous and menacing all at the same time.
I will miss Clive Owen though.
I really hope Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller can bring out that magic again.
